Module 1 – Introduction.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

  Learning Outcome
LO1

Identify the uses of NLP giving ways it can be used as a psychological tool.

LO2

Describe the process of selling including sales presentation and the art of selling.

LO3

Evaluate to what end might “professional persuaders” use communication skills and show what is meant by “clear and effective communication”.

 

Module 2 – Process of Communication.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Define the following methods of communication:
Body Language
Verbal communication
Written communication

LO2

Introduce the “sender and receiver” communication process.

LO3

Examine the Three Position Concept and what it achieves.

LO4

Describe situations when we can use the Three Position Concept giving commentary used in these modes.

 
Module 3 – System Processing. 
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

LO1

Investigate the organs that are responsible for seeing, hearing and feeling and show the reactions individuals have to senses that have priority over others.

LO2

Summarise the visual processing system including identification points and observable physical traits.

LO3

Evaluate the auditory processing system giving identification points and observable physical traits.

 

Module 4 – Rapport.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Evaluate rapport building and show what it implies.

 

Module 5 – Negotiating Techniques and Anchoring.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Summarise the following negotiating techniques:
Chunking-up
Chunking-down
Anchoring

LO2

Identify the importance of generating the correct feelings in anchoring, illustrate some anchors that should be immediately recognisable and give the four signs of happiness and well-being.

Explain how you would build your own Self-Motivation Anchor.

 

Module 6 – Developing Awareness.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Identify the features of worry.

Discuss the steps that can help stop you worrying.

Summarise theories on how to attain freedom from the restricting forces of other people.

 

Module 7 – I Am Certain to Fail.
