Module 1 – Rationale and Processes.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Module 2 – Organisation and Planning.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Explain why delegation of authority/responsibility can create problems in organisations and introduce how to maintain an acceptable ‘"balance of power’.

Describe the Alpha, Beta and Gamma methods of classification.

Module 3 – Management and Security.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Summarise how information systems are used and what role information technology plays.

Module 4 – Security Personnel.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Introduce four types of interviews, which the personnel department can utilise.

 

Module 5 – Budgeting.

Module 6 – Decision-Making.

Module 10 – Burglaries and Theft.

Module 12 – Domestic Violence.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Explain the effects of domestic violence and the psychological effects on women "the battered syndrome" has.

Module 13 – Child Abuse.

Module 14 – Rape.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Assess the four tactics women can use when trying to escape from a rapist and offer tactics useful during a rape assault.

Describe symptoms women, exposed to sexual harassment in the workplace, may suffer from.
