Module 1 – Achieving A Balanced Lifestyle.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

LO1 Introduce how the holistic approach to self-improvement addresses the entire person
LO2   Examine the implications of the holistic approach
LO3   Compare differences between self-esteem and self-confidence
LO4   Summarise what results when we are permitted to feel worthless
 
Module 2 – Nurturing Yourself.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

LO1 Discuss how loving yourself is important in developing self-esteem
LO2   Analyse you understanding of ‘self love’
LO3   Define what attitude patterns are related to
LO4   Describe the results of constantly emphasising negative information at ourselves
 
Module 3 – Dealing with Feelings.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

LO1 Analyse ways in which to cope with conflicting emotions
LO2   Examine what is considered to be a suitable way of finding our own direction
LO3   Summarise the term ‘spontaneous communication of feelings’
LO4   Identify what should be simple, appropriate, honest and specific
LO5   Discuss the importance of facial expression and body language in communication
 
Module 4 – Being Clear.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

LO1 Examine how healthier methods of communication are essential to self-improvement
LO2   Introduce 3 listening skills to improve communication techniques
LO3   Summarise the meaning of ‘empathy’
LO4   Evaluate 3 methods of conveying extra verbal and nonverbal messages
 
Module 5 – Exploring Dimensions of Intimacy.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

LO1 Introduce and explain the different types and levels of intimacy
LO2   Explain what is required of a person to experience real intimacy
LO3   Identify what restricts intimacy developing in a relationship
LO4   Summarise the definition of:
  • Friendship

Module 6 – A New Beginning.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

LO1 Analyse further concepts of self-improvement
LO2   Examine the reasons behind maintaining poor weight control
LO3   Evaluate how this problem should be addressed correctly
LO4   Summarise how a person should be directed, where spirituality is concerned
